caresets and the experimental public co-design of tomorrow

master's thesis on how partial orders can represent everything we care about, and how monotone co-design can be used for value-aligned participatory planning.

This work develops two interconnected contributions: a mathematical language of care connecting
applied category theory, decision theory, and ethics; and EPCODOT, a software tool enabling
participatory planning for researchers, communities, and cities.

This thesis was advised by gioele zardini and fabio duarte.

Software prototype available at epcodot.com (coming soon).
