Apple's Ecosystem

The way that apple chooses to build their product ecosystem seems to prioritize interfacial simplicity for the user, and remove a lot of the burden of choice.

We see here also the benefits of monopolization.

apple’s ecosystem seems to me to be generally beneficial for the consumer (who can afford it).

It’s not all great though. Sometimes criticized as being a walled garden, or worse.
