A New EPCOT

This is pretty much a pipe dream but I think it’s worthwhile to note these ideas for now.

A city and community that has opted in to experimenting with new designs and theories. This would be a place that would make it easy for new people to move there and join the community, and it would serve as a testing ground for the rest of the world.

Why would anyone join?

→

To help other people through pushing forward new possibilities of how cities and societies can be structured. I believe this would be an immense social good.

→

To be on the cutting edge and be some of the first to try new ideas and social technologies.

→

How would it work?

→

There would, presumably be a large tax burden on the wealthy citizens. There would need to be a good voting structure. But there would also need to be buy in by the citizens such that the government could do a lot of the decision making and experimentation without explicit citizen approval for every decision.
