Tiki bars in SF are very cool imo (Smugglers Cove and Last Rites especially, Tonga Room is silly, there are a few others)

18th and Valencia + Dolores Park is a nice area during the day. Valencia street nice at night. (we definitely did this!)

20th and Harrison is a nice, low key area for the evening with very good food and drink: Flour and Water, Tartine Manufactory for food, True Laurel, Trick Dog for drinks

24th and Valencia: classic hispanic area, 24th is vibrant during the day (east of Mission St). Gotta do the burrito at La Taqueria

North Beach is a lovely area with Little Italy and Chinatown, can check the places I’ve saved around there but there are many more

Walking the Embarcadero and stopping by the Ferry Building must do

Seals at Pier 39 and Ghirardelli Square classics (I feel like we did these 😊)

Land’s End, Baker Beach, Ocean Beach, and Presidio are all lovely nature getaways)

lots of good coffee if you want to find that too

sleeper ideas: Martuni’s has a piano karaoke / open mic some nights (all nights?) fun time if people are singing, evening at Cellarmaker house of pizza for detroit style pizza then El Rio for classic SF queer dive bar, Del Popolo up there in terms of best neopolitan pizzas I’ve had
