lack of verbs might make it a strong semantic language for notes… is it essentially treating language as semantic triples? Is there a constructed language that does this type of semantic directness better?

It certainly loses some fidelity, but it seems like that fidelity might not be as valuable for notes

though I bet there is something important lost when there aren’t 4 different ways to say the same thing like in many languages, a certain subtlety gone
